St. Michael’s is a mixed day and boarding school based in Llanelli, Wales. Founded in 1923, by the Rees brothers who built a strong reputation for good academic success, the school has been at its current location since 1928. The school caters for boys and girls from the age of 3 and has a thriving sixth-form. Children enter the school as day students, and can choose to board from the age of 12.
The school meets its educational aims through small class sizes and highly qualified teachers that are supported by an enriching academic curriculum. Learning is tailored to the individual child. The school’s ethos is to support the development of well-rounded individuals that are equipped with modest confidence, kindness, resilience, and selflessness, as well as the desire to strive for academic excellence.
There are currently 459 students on roll including the sixth form.
