Housed in Llantarnam Hall, a large Victorian mansion and its stunning 50 acres of grounds, Rougemont is an independent co-educational school located in Newport. Split into the Rougemont Nursery, the Preparatory School and the Senior School.

Rougemont offers a broad range of GCSE options to students. Maths, English Language and English Literature are compulsory, as is some element of Physical Education. Students choose another six subjects during Year 9.
Students are encouraged to undertake one modern language at least, one of the sciences and one humanities subject, to keep their options open for the future.
