Lathallan School is a Scottish independent and co-educational boarding school of located along the Aberdeenshire coastline, in the north-east of Scotland. It offers excellent Nursery, Primary and Secondary education for pupils aged 0-18 years of age. The school was founded in 1949 and was turned into a maternity house during the Second World War. It became co-educational in 1976 and the nursery department opened more recently in 2004.
The primary focus of Lathallan School is academic excellence, according to its headmaster Richard Toley. Over 200 pupils attend the school, with an average of 12 pupils per class. Students are accommodated in the beautiful Brotherton Castle and can chose to be full, weekly or flexi-boarders based on their individual needs.
