How is this calculated?
St Gerard’s School Trust is a day school for boys and girls from the age of 4 based in Bangor, Wales. Founded in 1915, by the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy, as a day and boarding school for girls, it moved to its current location in 1917. St Gerard’s became a fully co-educational day school in the early 1980’s and aims to create a Christian setting where everyone has the opportunity to make the most of their gifts, laying the best foundation for their future. The school ethos focuses on providing all-round academic social and spiritual care, and developing happy, confident individuals, equipped for life outside of school, who also hold values including responsibility positivity, disciple and unselfishness.

There are currently 234 children on roll, including junior, senior and sixth form students. Class sizes are small and the school is currently the second highest ranking small independent school in the UK. This is in part due to their 100% Gcse pass rate, including 96% GCSE Grade A* to C pass rate. At A Level the pass rate is 100%, with 52% of students achieving Grade A* / A. 100% of students move onto higher education with popular choices including Cardiff and Manchester universities.
