Unfortunately bullying is a part of childhood, and as such, school life. In both comprehensive and independent schools there is scope for children to be victimised by a single pupil or group of children collectively.

Bullying can take various forms such as physical, verbal or psychological. Each form has its own impact and has to be dealt with differently. The main thing to understand is that bullying CAN be dealt with and should never be tolerated.
